The two headline amenities at the Wyndham Halcyon Retreat Golf and Spa Resort include an 18-hole golf course and a totally unique historic château spa centre, based inside a beautiful building that has its origins in the 12th century. Both are under construction at the time of writing. A couple of hundred metres away lies the resort's fully open luxury château hotel, opened in late 2012.

It has an acclaimed restaurant specialising in local ingredients and dishes, superb period style bedroom suites, a large penthouse suite, outdoor swimming pool and a wine bar inside an old chapel within the château. Various other facilities are going to be built, including an indoor aqua park, children's play castle, golf clubhouse, cafes, boutique retail and much more. There are walking and cycling trails throughout the grounds that stretch out into the local community and beyond.
